EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

This is as close as I've ever gotten to settling on the final design for the secret project's lead character. In what started out as a test run on the new bristol comic boards that I'll be drawing the actual pages on, I ended up with his basic facial elements and, more importantly, his hairstyle. Although, I won't be going with the solid black for the hair color everything else is pretty much nailed down.

One down, twenty five some odd more to go.

Probably the worst part of working with an ensemble cast is having to actually figure out what they all fucking look like.

Incidentally, it is also officially t-minus two weeks until SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD!!!

I could probably squeeze in at least a couple more screenings of INCEPTION before then. Seeing it twice isn't nearly enough.

I also may have found my new favorite comic series, CASANOVA by MATT FRACTION, GABRIEL BA & FABIO MOON. With a majority of my old standards having reached their conclusions, its about damn time I started getting into (or obsessed by) some new stuff.

All work and no play makes JERICHO a dull boy, after all.
