LILY OF PAISUMS

It is an honor for me to present to you the first piece of fan art for BRIANNA GLEESON'S new literary project.

A very talented writer in her own right, my lady has always been a bit hesitant when it comes to showing off her work. It was slightly surprising when she told me that she was serializing a new story on her blog. A multi-generational fantasy tale of a troubled young princess, her as of yet untitled (going under the working title "Deceptions" for the moment) hooked me from the start. Despite being obviously biased, it is a very confident narrative with a really pronounced sense of purpose.

This piece is my interpretation of the title character, Lily of Paisums. Not that it does her any justice, but I couldn't wait to try my hand at drawing Lily purely because of a scene from the book's newest installment. Frankly, I just couldn't resist.

I'm so proud of her and I wish her all the luck in seeing this through to its conclusion.
